As parents, families and carers of children with different intellectual abilities the Cromehurst School P&C comes together to support the needs of all our children and to advocate for their educational entitlements. Working together we have the potential as a group to make a difference to the school experience of Cromehurst students.
Your P&C has two important goals. They are to:
- Build community and support for each other within the school community; and
- Raise funds to support school activities and programs where needed.
We meet once a term and often tie this in with training or information sessions run by the school.
One of our long-term aims is to increase opportunities for parent involvement – not only in school programs - but with other families.
The P&C financially supports the work of the school by continuing to fund the petrol costs of both school buses. We also raise funds to purchase additional educational equipment for classrooms and playgrounds and also help to finance enriching educational experiences for all the students. We also manage the uniform shop for the school.
