Tuck Shop

Tuck shop is another in school program develop students’ money and financial thinking, understanding, competence and confidence in the ability to use money in everyday situations.

In Tuck shop students will develop their ability to use money to purchase goods and services in a safe situation and to estimate and calculate with money. They will learn to recognise, read and match coins and notes in a safe environment.

Understanding monetary value (using real money) gives our students a greater awareness of the value of money and how different costs are associated with items of different values.  Through the tuckshop, our students can learn more about real life situations involving money.
