Positive Behaviour Engaging Learners (PBEL) is an evidence-based framework that brings together the whole-school community to contribute to developing a positive, safe and supportive learning culture. The framework assists schools to improve social, emotional, behavioural and academic outcomes for children and young people.
At Cromehurst School we have 3 expectations (rules).
We will:
learn together
be friendly
be safe
These expectations flow over into all areas of school and home life.
Posters reminding the students of their expected behaviour are placed around the classrooms and school. Areas that need improving are specifically targeted and lessons are taught to students to learn appropriate behaviours.
